Betadine solution

Betadine solution ensures thorough disinfection of cuts, scrapes and burns.
Betadine (povidone-iodine) is a broad spectrum disinfectant whose active ingredient iodine is contained in the carrier molecule povidone (PVP). By binding iodine to povidone, the water becomes soluble and therefore easy and pleasant to use (it does not sting, for example), while the disinfecting properties of iodine are fully preserved. Moreover, it is possible to process povidone-iodine in all kinds of administration forms.

Indication

✪ Prevents and treats infections of small and large wounds
✪ This reduces the risk of scars
✪ Accelerates wound healing

Administration

✪ Use a cotton ball or sterile gauze to apply Betadine solution directly from the bottle to the wound and adjacent skin
✪ The wound should be treated once or twice a day as long as it is open

Composition

Povidone iodine, disodium phosphate, lauromacrogol (polyoxyethylene lauryl alcohol ether), glycerol, sodium hydroxide, citric acid, potassium iodate and purified water
