Neutracid slows down the formation of lactic acid during training and replenishes the alkaline reserves, so that the pH value remains at the correct level. Sodium citrate slows down the formation of lactic acid, which can otherwise build up. Citric acid metabolites act as a buffer when a shortage of alkaline substances occurs.
