Copper-Plus

Equine America Copper-Plus, copper is present in all body cells and aids in the absorption and utilization of iron. Copper is also necessary for various enzymes, as well as for the control of normal hair pigmentation. Horses tolerate copper very well, but excess administration can interfere with the absorption of Zinc and Iron.
A lack of Copper can manifest as anemia, poor growth, hair discoloration, weight loss and some bone disorders. Copper-Plus provides high-quality nutritional copper along with supporting vitamins and minerals for absorption and utilization.

Indication

✪ For horses with a lack of copper
✪ Too much copper can interfere with the absorption of zinc and iron

Administration

✪ Horse: 20 g once a day
✪ Pony: 10 g once a day
